ISG technology announced that over 65 people, comprising ISG technology’s employees, customers and partners participated in ISG technology’s Annual Go-Karting Event 2011. The corporate event is becoming increasingly popular to the Company’s customers and partners and each year the number of participants, competitiveness and excitement increases.
The event was held at the Buckmore Park Circuit in Kent. The 17 teams had the chance to prove their driving skills on the same kart circuit where current British F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button learnt their craft.
One of PRS for Music’s teams won the race for yet another year in a row, taking home the First Place Trophies. Siemens Enterprise’s team won second place, even though they were racing with less team members than other groups. The third place winner was the McDonald’s team. All participants showed their racing skills and had a great time!
Following last year’s charity donations, ISG technology has again made a donation to two UK charities. On the day of the event, ISG technology presented a cheque to Tesco’s Charity of the Year, Alzheimer’s Society and also donated a prize that will be used in a future fundraising activity to Yum! Brands for their support of the annual World Hunger Relief campaign.
The high speed and exciting event was made possible by the generous sponsorship of ISG technology’s partners – CommsCentre, Connectix Cabling Systems, Grant Thornton, Graeme Blair, Anixter, Batt Cables and Cellular Solutions.
ISG technology would like to thank all participants for joining the Company on this annual event and hope to see everyone there next year!
