ISG technology, a Multisourcing Solutions provider,
announced today that Mike Morrison, Chief Executive Officer, will
participate in a panel discussion at “Bulgaria – Your Rightsourcing
Destination”.
The forum is organised by the
InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) and Entrea Capital. The event will take
place on 1st December 2011 at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The all
day forum is designed to showcase Bulgaria as an attractive Nearshoring
destination and to introduce the UK and Global ICT business community
with the opportunities provided by the Bulgarian market.
Mike Morrison will participate in the panel
discussion, “Bulgaria’s IT and BPO companies with global reach and
presence,” presenting ISG technology’s experience in Business Process
Outsourcing. The Company first opened their Nearshore based office in
Bulgaria in 2008 transferring their own IT Help Desk and back office
activities. Today, ISG technology’s European Support Centre houses five
departments: IT Help Desk, Finance and Accounting, Project Support
Services, Marketing and Sales Support and Human Relations. Three years
after opening in Bulgaria, ISG technology is experiencing great benefits
from the Nearshore destination. With continual growth, the Company
recently gained three customers who extended their business processes to
ISG technology and are benefiting from Bulgaria’s highly-skilled and
dedicated employees, all for reduced business costs.
Forum attendees will learn more about the advantages
of Nearshoring to Bulgaria, a full member of the European Union,
compared to Offshoring to distant locations such as India and South
America. The main topics of the forum are the broad skills base of
Bulgarian employees, the macroeconomic indicators of the country and the
role of the European Union as a trade partner for Bulgaria.
Mike Morrison is the CEO of ISG technology. His
career spans over 30 years - the last 20 of which have been in the ICT
sector. As a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants, Mike has worked for a variety of blue chip UK corporates in
senior financial roles. He also spent six years as the CEO at
Independent Digital Networks - an AIM listed provider of Telecom
services - prior to securing the successful sale of the company to
Redstone plc in January 2007.
The forum attendance is free, however registration is
required and can be completed at the link.
