ISG technology was selected as a technology partner for the network infrastructure installation in Cedar Court Grand Hotel.
Over the past year, engineers from ISG technology’s Manchester office have been working alongside and coordinating with building contractors on the renovations of the five-star luxury hotel in York.
As an expert in networking infrastructures, IT solutions and support, ISG technology was selected for this prestigious project to design and install the infrastructure for the telephones, data, wireless Internet, television and CCTV networks throughout the first five star hotel in the historic city of York.
“Working in a Grade II listed building is always challenging, especially taking into account the scale of the refurbishment and the quality of the finish required in a five-star Hotel,” said John Bulger, project manager.
The Cedar Court Grand Hotel sets the standard when it comes to luxury and elegance. Andrew Coney, the general manager of the hotel said, “A great deal of passion, energy and imagination has gone into creating The Grand, but the most important moment will come when we welcome the first guests through the doors. I can’t wait to meet them and to give York what we’ve promised: its first five-star hotel experience.”
